A native of Hamilton, Bermuda, Dr. Favalli attended Wake Forest University (Winston Salem, N.C.), earning his bachelor's degree in biology in 1990. He received his Doctorate in Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) in 1994 from the University of Florida and continued in a general practice residency. He completed a Pediatric Dentistry Specialty program at Baylor University (Dallas, Texas) and then furthered his education in a specialty program in orthodontics at the University of Toronto. He began in private practice with Dr. Scott Franklin in Austin, Texas, before meeting his wife, Monica, who is also an orthodontist from the Colombian School of Medicine (Colombia). They relocated to Fort Myers to begin practice together in 2001.
Dr.
Favalli is active in orthodontic study groups and attends continuing education
regularly on the latest in pediatric and orthodontic dentistry. Professional
affiliations include the American Association of Orthodontists, American Academy
of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, Lee County Palate Group,
and
Lee
County
Dental
Society
of Fort Myers.
