Fort Myers Orthodontics Invisalign® Clear Aligners

Invisalign® is a pain-free, nearly invisible method by which certain orthodontic problems can be resolved. These “braces” consist of a series of clear plastic trays, or aligners, that are specifically designed and fabricated for you.  Many alignment problems can be resolved with Invisalign, including:

  • Overbite
  • Underbite
  • Gaps
  • Crooked teeth

We are a Certified Invisalign® Provider

Dr. Oliver Favalli is a Certified Invisalign Provider. Many people choose Invisalign, as the aligners are virtually invisible, removable, easy to use, and generally pain-free. Your teeth are gently shifted from their current position into the correct position. These aligners are custom built specifically for your teeth.

How does Invisalign work?

How Invisalign Works

Each aligner is worn for a period of about two weeks. You remove them for eating, drinking, brushing and flossing. As you continue your treatment, changing your aligners, your teeth are gently moved into the correct position. We check your progress about every six weeks to ensure that the treatment is working as it should. The time involved in treatment is about nine to fifteen months. Each person is different, and you may have between eighteen and thirty aligners for your specific plan, based upon the orthodontic issue.

Why choose Invisalign?

Invisalign aligners have big advantages. Not only are the aligners nearly invisible, they are removable, and allow you to eat and drink what you want during the course of treatment. Simply replace the aligners afterwards. The comfort level is higher than with traditional braces, free from metal or wires. You will see what your teeth will look like when the problem is corrected, as the system includes a virtual treatment plan! Find out if Invisalign will work for you.

Invisalign for Teens

Certified Invisalign Teen® Provider

Alternatives to Braces for Kids & Teens

Many teenagers are happier with Invisalign. Not only are they easy to use, they are nearly invisible and virtually pain-free. Problems that are common with traditional braces can include painful adjustments, the need for elastic bands, more difficult hygiene issues, and the need for ongoing appointments.

Teenagers love Invisalign, and we work with many teenage patients throughout the Fort Myers area and the surrounding communities. Call us – we are experts at working with patients of all ages, including teenagers.

Costs and Insurance

If you have dental insurance, it often covers a percentage of the cost of Invisalign. Many dental insurance companies will allow up to $3,500 for orthodontic treatment. At Lakes Park Children’s Dentistry & Orthodontics, we make it our job to find out what your insurance will cover, and to make financial arrangements that are workable for you. We know the bottom line matters, and we work hard to help our patients get the most savings possible.
